STAM Ghent, 2010
We were commissioned to supply and program
hard- and software for the multimedia applications of
the new city museum at the Bijloke site.
All individual set-ups (over 40) operate
fully automatically. Our software I2F MediaBrick responds
to sensors. Some applications (ex. "listening benches")
are activated by push buttons.
Applications deserving special mention:
- introduction movie over 12 meters: 3 projectors,
edgeblending,
- holographic projections in the dormitory,
- projections on glass plates in the storage room;
our software masks from the source the exact number
of pixels between the glass plates,
- the arches room with interaction between the MU-tables
(assigned to J!mability) and the 4 I2F MediaBoxes
controlling 4 projectors. Visitors can view their
own choice of video clips on the large cone.
